In SC 15 I talk about the significant differences between how we treat Earth and how space faring ETs treat their own worlds.
The way that ETs treat their worlds is a kind of benchmark for us to aim for. The differences are so significant that you will be astounded at how far we have to go until will finally grow up. A point at which we are seen as mature enough to become a fully fledged space faring people who can go out into space, interact with other peoples and colonize other worlds.
